One example of such privacy rights attained pursuant to its state can be found in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information.
Access: you can request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information.
Deletion: you can ask us to delete your personal information. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers, for legitimate business purposes.
Opt-out of sale: you can ask us to stop certain transfers of your personal information to our third party service providers. We do not sell your PI to third parties in the traditional sense as we do not receive money in exchange for sharing your PI, however, as mentioned above, we do share your PI as follows which may be considered a "sale" under the CCPA. If you do not want us to share your information with third parties for marketing related communications, please follow the "unsubscribe" instructions contained in such communication. You can also disable cookies which may be shared with our third party advertisers.
We need to verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Please provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative with sufficient detailed description that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
